Good to know
100% of our candles are hand-poured in our workshops. Each wick is cut and recentered by hand as well. Mathilde M candles are made from a balanced blend of vegetable soy wax and mineral wax.

The Provençal Art of Living inspires our Creative Studio for this collection imagined as a tribute to Madame de Sévigné. From her castle in Grignan, the little Provençal Versailles, the renowned Marquise loved to describe the beauty of Provence's landscapes in her correspondence. Through this rich collection, Mathilde M celebrates the iconic Provençal motifs and the most beautiful scents from the South of France: lavender, mimosa, and verbena.

Our care instructions for harmonious burning
During first use, ensure the wax melts across the entire surface to prevent a "tunnel" from forming in subsequent uses. Trim the candle wicks to 5 millimeters before each use.
It is best to burn your candle in sequences of 2 to 3 consecutive hours maximum.

Make sure to leave at least 0.5 cm of wax at the bottom of your candle.

When the wax is consumed, carefully wash the container to remove wax and fragrance residues and reuse it as a beautiful tealight holder.
